Top 5 Policy Proposals for a More Secure and Equitable Future
Top 5 Policy Proposals for a More Secure and Equitable Future
As a candidate for president, my primary goal is to ensure a more secure and equitable future for the United States. My top five policy proposals focus on key areas such as economic reform, immigration reform, and social security enhancement. These initiatives aim to address the unique challenges faced by Americans and ensure that government services are accessible and effective for the average citizen.
1. Streamlining Immigration and Economic Integration
One of the most pressing issues in the United States is the immigration crisis, particularly the growing number of Central American and Haitian immigrants fleeing their countries. To address this, I propose mandatory two-year compulsory service for every US citizen aged 18 to 26, not only in the military but also in the Peace Corps and AmeriCorp. This service will be designed to help improve living conditions in Central America, Haiti, and other countries where people are fleeing to the U.S. illegally.
These initiatives will include: Focusing on deploying the Peace Corps in Central America and Haiti to address gang influence and improve living conditions. Deploying drones and cruise missiles to protect the Peace Corps and hold local and national governments accountable for attacks on these teams. Training programs linked to skilled trades for those who participate in the Peace Corps or AmeriCorp. Banning gang involvement and promoting stable governments in target countries. Developing a legal pathway for economic immigrants, requiring a payment for temporary work visas or residency, and providing education opportunities for residents.
2. Enhancing Social Security and Reducing the Deficit
Social Security is a critical issue, and it is important to ensure its long-term solvency. By removing the cap on FICA taxes, we can make Social Security solvent into perpetuity. Additionally, I support the exploration of universal healthcare akin to Canada's system, which can improve the quality of life for American citizens.
3. Addressing Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Clean Energy
A major environmental challenge is the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels. In addition to investment in renewable energy sources such as wind and solar, I propose supporting the development and deployment of small, less expensive, and less dangerous nuclear power options. We must also fund research into technologies that can remove greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.
4. Infrastructure Investment and Tax Reform
The infrastructure in the United States requires significant investment to maintain and improve its status. By providing tax credits to builders who construct entry-level homes, we can stimulate this market. Additionally, I propose eliminating tax breaks for second and third homes and lowering the tax liability for construction materials and equipment.
5. Government Efficiency and Access
To improve government efficiency, I support creating an intuitive branch to study the effectiveness of various government programs and propose incremental and piecemeal reforms. This includes simplifying access to benefits and entitlements through an AI interface that explains the rights and options available to the public. This will ensure that individuals have a clear understanding of their entitlements without needing to hire a lawyer.
Furthermore, I propose removing presidential immunity, clarifying the presidency's role, and addressing campaign finance issues to ensure that the office remains within the founders' original intentions.
Conclusion
My campaign is centered on making government more accessible, understandable, and efficient for every American. By focusing on these key areas, we can address pressing issues such as immigration, social security, and infrastructure while ensuring a more equitable and secure future for all.
