The Master and Servant: Understanding the Grip of Matter Over Our Lives

Do you feel like you are being controlled by the things around you? Time, money, gadgets, and even relationships can exert a powerful influence over our lives. But who truly has the authority to dictate the course of your existence? In this article, we will explore the concept of matter control and its effects on our natural living.

The Fourth Feature of the Physical Universe: Matter

Matter, the fourth feature of the physical universe, has a significant influence on our lives. Our bodies exist in the form of matter, but as we accumulate more than necessary, we lose our natural disposition. Time, like money, can also exert control over us, pushing us towards unnaturalness. We chase after money, thinking that it will bring us happiness, but does it truly make us happier?

Understanding the Relationship with Energy or Matter

The relationship with energy or matter is always cumbersome. The happiness we acquire from excess materialistic things is a consciously acquired happiness, not a natural one. We can learn from nature, where entities like plants use only as much water and sunlight as they need to grow. Our bodies are no different; we need to detach from unnecessary things to experience true contentment.

Applying the Lessons from Nature to Daily Life

Just as a plant knows how to grow without being instructed, we too have the innate potential to grow and care for ourselves. However, we have been conditioned to hold onto matter excessively. Our strongest attachments are with material things, whether in the form of money, gadgets, or other possessions. Detaching from these things, even in small ways, can help us regain our naturalness.

Likening Matter to Other Forms of Matter

Matter, whether in the form of money, clothes, or relationships, can control us. Your spouse, family, and children are also forms of matter, and we often find it difficult to detach from them. However, starting with the physical, you can achieve the mental state of not being tied to matter. By recognizing your reliance on these things and eventually breaking free from them, you can experience a more natural life.

Detachment and Natural Living

Matter, in the form of money, gadgets, or other materialistic items, is a major factor in our unnaturalness. Recognize your dependence on these things and begin observing them. You may find that the more you detach from them, the more freedom and happiness you experience. It is not about completely giving up all material possessions, but about finding a balance that allows you to live more naturally.

Inspector General: Who Controls What and Who is the Owner?

The main idea is to inspect and determine who controls what and who is the owner. Are time, money, gadgets, or your family controlling you? Are you simply the effect of all these entities of matter? When you become an effect of everything, you don't grow naturally; you simply exist. Existence by itself is dead. Surviving and thriving is natural, just like nature exists and expands in abundance. By recognizing and breaking free from these unnatural controls, you can experience the natural state of being.

Living a natural life is innate in all beings. We all possess an innate wisdom that can be accessed by connecting with our innermost selves. This requires time and daily effort. By connecting with yourself and examining the interaction between money, matter, and energy, you can gradually disentangle yourself, increasing the naturalness of living. The outcomes of this process will be worth the wait, and it will be a gradual and steady journey towards a more natural and fulfilling life.
