However, when I do visit client sites, I plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow for traffic, construction, or unexpected detours. This precaution ensures I always arrive either on time or early. Being pithy and well-prepared is no small feat, and it reflects positively on one's ability to manage time effectively.

Long-Term Effects of Poor Punctuality

Punctuality is not just about being on time. It is about maintaining a balanced schedule and organizing one's life. Not managing time wisely can lead to increased stress levels, health issues, and damage to one's professional reputation. I learned this firsthand when I frequently found myself in a rush, reflecting on the long-run consequences of such behavior.

At my first job after graduating from college, one of the bosses had a strong dislike for starting the working day with a coffee break. He considered it unprofessional.
