Success in MBBS at AIIMS New Delhi: Does Hard Work Matter More Than Notion?

For a PCM student like me, it feels like every path in life is determined by some form of achievement or accolade. But, the truth is, no institution, no school, no college, and no job can guarantee your success. Nobody has seen the future, and the path we choose today may not necessarily lead to the success we aspire for.

In our stream, getting into an IIT is often considered one of the biggest achievements of one's life. It is true that an IIT tag is impressive, but it does not guarantee your success or your ability to achieve what you want in life. Similarly, getting into any other college does not deprive you of the opportunity to succeed. Many of us get into the rat race just because we were told that certain paths will lead to success. But, I believe these students at AIIMS New Delhi will have the same opportunities as any other student to succeed or not, depending on their dedication and hard work.

Hard Work Matters More Than Notion

These 'buildings' we seek to enter are not the deciding factors; what truly matters is your hard work and your love for what you are doing, regardless of your background. So, rather than focusing on the MBBS students at AIIMS New Delhi, it's important to remember that hard work and dedication are the keys to success, but only if one puts in the effort consistently. Do not limit your dreams based on the impression that a certain path will make you a "true success." Instead, focus on your current endeavors and give your best in what you are doing today.

As a current PCM student, I understand the pressure to succeed. The key is to remember that everyone has different starting points. Do not compare yourself to others; instead, focus on your own journey. Your success is not determined by where you start but by how you sustain the effort and the commitment to hard work. Give your best to the present, and no matter your background, your future success will depend on your own hard work and perseverance.

I am sure you do not remember what you were doing five or six years ago. So, make sure that you give your everything in the present so that whenever you recall this day, you will remember that you gave your best. Get out of bed, work hard, and think about the future with a positive mindset. Remember, every day you work hard is another day you can sleep like a champion.
