Individual challenges can be overcome with the right approach. In my own experience, I made the mistake of starting NEET preparation late, specifically in August, using a free series from Unacademy. While the channel seemed promising, I found myself struggling to solve even a single question, especially in Biology. I wasted a significant amount of time, which could have been better spent learning from a more structured platform. In the end, I switched to Physics Wallah, but it was already too late, and only half the syllabus was covered.

Strategies for JEE Aspirants

Several scenarios can arise for JEE aspirants:

Starting Your Preparation: Knowing where you stand compared to your peers can help you gauge your progress. The following questions can help you determine your current level and plan accordingly. No Backlogs, Feeling Weak: Feeling weak in solving questions or finding the rate of completing the syllabus slow? Address these issues with targeted methods.

Physics

As a struggling student in physics, you may find that you have completed a chapter from your coaching materials but are still unsure about many problem-solving techniques.

Situation 1: If you find yourself unable to solve 50-55 questions after the lecture, it might be worth considering a change in your teacher. However, if you believe it's your responsibility to solve these questions on your own, try the following approach:

After completing a chapter, compile all relevant formulas and specific cases in a notebook. Create a formula-case sheet for recurring problems (e.g., chain problems, spring VCM, massless rod VCM, and graphs). Make sure to revise your weak topics using the formula-case sheet and attempt all DPPs (Daily Problem Practices) specific to those areas. Solve chapter-wise PYQs (Previous Years’ Question Papers) to reinforce your understanding.

Situation 2: Print out all DPPs and sort them chapter-wise. Spend the next three days creating a formula-case sheet and graphs for each chapter, just like in Situation 1. Utilize this sheet to revise and reinforce your understanding of weak topics. Then, attempt all DPPs for that chapter and solve chapter-wise PYQs in a full day exercise.

Biology and Chemistry

For biology and chemistry, the strategies are more situational and might vary based on your current level of preparedness. Given my experience, I would recommend:

Ensure you have a solid grasp of the fundamentals. Regularly solve practice papers and DPPs to reinforce your understanding. Utilize online resources and video lectures to supplement your learning.

Remember, consistency is key. By adhering to a structured and comprehensive study plan, you can enhance your problem-solving skills and increase your chances of success in both JEE and NEET 2022.
