From this point, you can start counting down your last working day. Never get stuck in verbal agreements. The formal process on HRMS will be the only one that is counted. Discuss the last working day with your manager during the discussion. The 3-month notice period is a myth. If your reason is strong enough, you can push for a mutually agreed-upon date. Initiate the separation process first, so you have a strong command over the situation. This will give you leverage to influence the date of your departure. Avoid filling out feedback forms. Simply mention NA for those that require your input.
