One effective approach is to let the co-worker know that you keep your religion out of the workplace, and similarly, you expect them to keep their opinions on religion out of the workplace. This can help maintain a professional and respectful environment. Sometimes, a simple reminder can go a long way in preventing disrespectful behavior.

Another strategy is to answer questions about your faith humbly, quietly, and politely. Avoid becoming preachy or aggressive. Allow them to express their thoughts and feelings and then pray for them afterwards. This approach can help de-escalate the situation and maintain a positive work environment.
