Punctuality, Honesty, and Hardwork: Punctuality is a fundamental trait that can be observed in many employees, but honesty is equally important. In today’s world, we have numerous security measures such as CCTV cameras and audits to ensure that valued resources are protected. Honesty plays a crucial role in maintaining trust within the organization. Hardwork, on the other hand, means approaching one’s job with genuine effort and a commitment to making both oneself and the company better. Respect and Understanding for Leadership: It is important for employees to recognize that fear is not what leaders look for. Instead, they value respect, understanding, and a clear line of communication. Employees should feel free to ask questions when necessary and support their leaders in their roles. It is also essential to provide honest, constructive feedback, rather than blind adulation or back-stabbing. Encouraging an environment where ideas and opinions are shared respectfully can be invaluable for growth and innovation.

Over the course of my career, I have encountered a number of promising candidates who exhibited these traits. While not everyone may possess all the ideals, those who show promise are often sought out for mentorship and development. However, the path is not always easy, as some individuals break down under the stress and choose to stay in supportive roles rather than taking on the challenging but rewarding position of a manager. These candidates often struggle to balance the need for assertiveness with the desire to maintain a positive and supportive relationship with their leaders.
