Our wounds, deeply rooted within our subconscious, are often triggered by similar situations in our lives. Understanding and healing these wounds is crucial for personal growth and emotional well-being. The Role of Subconscious in Holding Wounds

The subconscious mind is a complex repository of our memories, emotions, and experiences. It stores not only the events but also the feelings associated with those events. Recent advancements in energy therapies have provided alternative and more efficient methods for healing subconscious wounds. These therapies can quickly and easily release the emotional baggage that has been stored within us. Once these wounds are healed, individuals can move past them and live more fulfilling lives. This healing process allows us to break free from the grip of past events and circumstances, enabling us to become the person we truly want to be.

Personal Experiences and Strategies

My journey in healing the wounded inner child has involved a combination of therapy and meditation. Both approaches have their unique benefits and challenges. While meditation is widely recognized for its healing properties, it does not allow for targeted healing and can be a slow and tedious process. In contrast, therapy, though more effective, can be expensive and sometimes painful.

One of my last therapists, a university professor, utilized a technique that combined elements of meditation. After several sessions where he focused on calming me down, he identified a particular behavior and instructed me to 'just watch'. This advice struck me deeply, and days or weeks later, the meaning behind these words became apparent. When I reached out to him to ask what to do next, his response affirmed the power of simply observing and watching.

Through this natural healing process, I noticed a transformative change in my behavior. Initially, I could observe the same behavior with a deeper understanding, which led to even greater learning over time. As the original behavior became less frequent and eventually nonexistent, it became clear that there is indeed a natural healing ability within the body/mind if one chooses to watch and observe with full cognition.

The integration of therapy and meditation proved to be highly effective in my healing journey. Meditation was the initial catalyst for initiating therapy, as I was struggling with functional depression. The first psychiatrist I saw even on our last session emphasized the need for extensive work, nearly considering institutionalization, but eventually opting not to due to his understanding of the challenge and urgency.

Conclusion

Healing the wounds carried within our subconscious is a journey that requires both introspection and external support. While energy therapies offer a profound and effortless method for healing, the combination of therapy and meditation can provide deeper insights and a more comprehensive healing process. By embracing these natural healing processes, we can break free from our past and live more fulfilling lives.
