This proposal aligned with the client's almost unlimited budget and the firm's disregard for the cost of the scenery for the CEO's new in-house TV show.

The client accepted the need for the rush job with additional fees, turning the situation into a win-win. This resulted in excess profits for my boss, amounting to over $15,000. The company would often celebrate this with bonuses, and I would receive a $1,000 bonus at the end of the year.

The income disparity eventually led to my departure from the company. While I had the creativity, the business-oriented managers lacked the ability to think outside the box. They struggled to see beyond the immediate deadlines and costs, often leading to missed opportunities.
