Post breakup, I witnessed that he had also slandered me to the same flying monkey, confirming my belief that the accusations were false. I also found out that he had lied about me to my own family members, further emphasizing the malicious nature of these smear campaigns. Initially, I was angry, but then I remembered defending the flying monkey and realized that people who knew me would eventually recognize the falsehoods. Over time, my family members did indeed corroborate with me that whatever he said was indeed lies. The truth eventually came to light.
