It was quite amusing to see how the chaos of miscommunication led to some hilarious moments. Another fun and effective team building activity occurred at a former workplace, where the leader devised a creative non-verbal communication exercise. We were asked to form a line, with the last person in the line showing a sign to the person next to them. The sign depicted the starting of a bike and leaving, which had to be passed through the line without uttering a word. Our boss demonstrated the process, and then the last person in the line relayed the message to the next person. However, what we observed was that the meaning of the sign changed significantly as it passed through the line. When it reached the first person, it was completely different and potentially unrecognizable.

This activity not only provided us a good laugh but also served as a valuable lesson. It highlighted how information can be distorted and misunderstood when passed through a series of individuals.
